It was a wonderful trip. French Touch Travel did a great job of taking care of all the small but important details that can add stress to a big trip. We would use them again!

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The restaurant in a bus experience in London and the dinner cruise in Paris.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We would space out some of the walking. Our younger children started to wear out and were pretty exhausted by the end of some busy days. That was mostly on our end for not considering that when scheduling packed days.

We had an excellent experience with French Touch Travel. We are a family of four and spent 18 nights going through Italy and France. We worked with the company to make arrangements to see the cities and sites we wanted to visit. They offered great options for hotels and activities. They stayed in close contact with us during the trip and made additional arrangements upon request. The company provided outstanding service making arrangements and during the trip. We were very satisfied and have already recommended them to our friends.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

We enjoyed all the locations we toured. We went to Rome, Florence, and Venice. Our hotel in Florence was very memorable as it had a rooftop restaurant with a bar that had a spectacular view of Duomo di Firenze and Basilica of Santa Croce, especially at night. After Venice, we flew to Paris and spent a few nights in Bayeux in Normandy. The food was spectacular everywhere we went!

The guides were well informed and personable.

The hotels were charming, especially the one in Sarlat.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The Saint-Émilion wine-tasting day and the caves of Rouffignac and Lascaux.

The day in Sarlat for their Félibrée was fun!

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We would shorten the truffle and walnut museum day.

Perfectly balanced trip for our family!

We wanted to plan a once in a lifetime trip to Europe and French Touch Travel went above and beyond to help us do that! Everyone we worked with listened to our needs and requests and together we created the perfect itinerary for our family, which included something for everyone! We had all of the information we needed to make us feel comfortable and prepared, and we also knew they were there for us if we needed anything during the trip itself. We fit so much into this trip- saw sights we have always wanted to and had unforgettable experiences together as a family! We will treasure these memories forever and we have French Touch Travel to thank for that! We loved getting a mix of history and culture, along with some family fun and adventure! 

It was the perfect balance for our family and there are honestly too many amazing memories to list! Thank you French Touch Travel for all of your help and support- we loved working with you and we loved our trip!!

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Some of our highlights included getting to stand in a courtyard to hear Big Ben ring, seeing Buckingham Palace, taking in the views from the Eiffel Tower and the top of the Arc de Triomphe, walking the Chapel Bridge in Lucerne, taking a gondola ride in Venice and visiting the rooftops of the Duomo di Milano...but also visiting the Harry Potter Studios, Disneyland Paris, the Lindt Chocolate factory and Jungfraujoch, "The Top of Europe!"

Overall, comments are highly complementary for French Touch Travel. They stayed with us for the year that we planned and they accommodated all of our unique needs, answered all questions at all times, and showed care and concern for our family. I could not speak more highly of the team.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Our tour guide in London was amazing, the high tea at the hotel there was incredible, the "Great Gatsby" play was so good, and the restaurant adjacent to our hotel in London was visited twice!

In Paris, our walking food tour showed us places we would not likely have visited, and our Eiffel Tower tour guide convinced me to go into the tower, where I likely would not have gone on my own. Walking the city of Paris was second to none.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We would stay at a different hotel in London for sure. The location was great, but the hotel itself posed some minor challenges with the included breakfast and the wear and tear of the bedding. We would also stay at a different hotel in Paris, not because there was an issue (we loved it), but because we wanted to be where we took the food tour (Boulevard Saint-Germain). We would also spend more time in Paris.

This was a dream trip for us. The hotels were exactly what we hoped for. The itinerary was just right and left enough time for us to explore on our own. The guides were helpful and prompt.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The river cruise and Roland Garros.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

I would hope that we would be told in advance that several of our plans were not possible because of renovations and exhibits that closed down the places we thought we were visiting.

France Vacation Review: Cuisine, Hiking, 3 Weeks

We had a five-star, 23-day trip with French Touch Travel. An amazing team set up a great trip and revised it over time. Before we left, we went over the trip day by day. We had drivers and trains between towns. Our agent helped us, monitored the trip, and made changes upon request. The hotel and restaurant recommendations were excellent. Our trip exceeded our high expectations.

Our agent was able to get hard-to-get reservations at restaurants and was always there to help us. The trip was on our phone on the trip plans app. The guides and drivers were excellent and on time, friendly and knowledgeable. This was a great trip because of French Touch Travel. They were kind, responsible, and flexible to meet our requests.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

The French people were a highlight. The guides were great, kind, knowledgeable, and funny. Each stay (six locations) seemed like a separate vacation. We had amazing dinner experiences. The small hotels were great recommendations (the staff were kind, accommodating, and made us feel welcome). The hiking was great.

If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?

We would stay longer.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

Visiting Windsor Castle and some of the museums in London. Disney Paris was also a lot of fun. We were well set up with our driver and the ticket process was made simple with our travel company!

The travel specialist and the other team members were phenomenal. We went from Normandy to Paris to Bordeaux to the Basque Country. The planning process for the trip was hassle-free. They asked all the right questions to ensure our trip had the experiences we wanted: food tours, wine tastings, museums, soccer games, D-Day, Mont Saint-Michel, and more.   

The balance of planned excursions and free time was perfect. Every guide was professional, knowledgeable, and personable, but more than that, it was clear each guide loved what they did and had a passion for what they were showing us. Every hotel we stayed in was spot-on with the amenities we discussed in our planning.

The agency was accommodating and easy to get in touch with when needed. Our trip was truly a vacation; all the details were taken care of and all tickets were electronically available. I highly recommend using this travel company!

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

For me, it was all the people we met along the way, as well as the unique experiences. San Sebastián was my favorite place.

The trip that was planned for us was exactly what we requested. It was very well planned out and was seamless. Every detail was listed out for us, including how long it would take to get to our destinations by foot, vehicle or public transportation. Olivia, our agent, was incredibly responsive and made any requested change immediately. She was available by text at all times and very resourceful. The app that was used was very easy to use and had a text feature that we could all see and reply to. I would highly recommend Olivia and the agency. This is our third time using this agency and we have been extremely happy with them on each trip.

Our trip to France was terrific. We splurged on this trip and chose to work with our travel company for private tours. To their credit, they arranged a good mix of planned activities and free time that reflected our desires and discussions with them. The itinerary gave us a great opportunity to visit three distinctly different and delightful areas: Paris, Provence, and the French Riviera. The itinerary was thorough, informative, up to date, and easily accessible via their app.

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

It is hard to single out the most memorable parts of the trip, as we thoroughly enjoyed it all. Of the three regions, Provence was our favorite … the history, the old villages, the wineries, and the relaxed atmosphere.However, we loved seeing the wonderful Eiffel Tower during the day and at night on the river cruise. Experiencing Paris at night was delightful.

This trip exceeded my wildest dreams. After reading the reviews and completing some information on the website, Sophie reached out to me on a splendid day while I was walking my dog on Roosevelt Island near Washington, D.C. 

We discussed amazing things, but she added many more amazing things, making it seem almost like a dream. She arranged a private tour that included riding a white horse of the Camargue to view the flamingos and other wildlife. For our stays, Sophie chose luxurious, centrally located, upscale boutique hotels with excellent amenities, kind staff, and comfortable rooms. Despite my mishap in the bathroom, the apartment in St. Remy de Provence was steps away from where Nostradamus was born. It was beautifully appointed with a great deck that overlooked the city and a church that was built hundreds of years ago. 

We enjoyed nights of eating charcuterie and drinking local wines to the smell of baked croissants from the restaurant on the bottom floor of the apartment house. We also had access to amenities at the sister hotel and could swim and view the Alpilles from the pool.

We just got back from a wonderful trip of Loire Valley, Bordeaux, and Paris.  Sophie planned a wonderful trip.  Our guides and all excursions were fantastic.  

What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?

We got to explore the beautiful chateaus with knowledgeable guides; bike ride in the wine country; climb the highest sand dune in Europe; explore the Paris Flea Market; and eat our way through Paris on very fun food tour. Highly recommend using this travel company.
